The Master of Leonardo exhibition in Florence

It falls just in the year of the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death, and it celebrates his Master Andrea del Verrocchio, symbolic artist of the Renaissance in Florence.
You can admire over 120 great works of paintings, sculptures and drawings from the most important museums and collections in the world such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Musée du Louvre in Paris, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Uffizi Galleries of Florence.
The artistic production on display in Florence concerns the ” Lorenzo the Magnificent period “, approximately between 1460 and 1490. The exhibition features masterpieces by Andrea del Verrocchio and works by the most famous artists of the second half of the fifteenth century related to his workshop, such as Domenico del Ghirlandaio, Sandro Botticelli, Pietro Perugino and Leonardo da Vinci, his most famous student, of which it will be possible to reconstruct training and exchange with the teacher through exceptional loans and unparalleled comparisons.
